signaling-pathways
TRAF6 (TNF-Receptor-Associated Factor 6) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase and signaling adaptor that couples upstream receptors — including Toll-like receptors such as TLR3 — to downstream activation of NF-κB and other inflammatory signaling cascades. TRAF6 has also been characterized as an oncogenic node in several cancers, making it a candidate druggable target where its signaling sustains tumor-promoting inflammation.
